However chips were quite poor, really dry and bruised and also lots of chippings from the edges of the potato which were really quite hard and sharp. In reality all of Middleton chippies are the same for chips. I'd probably recommended getting chunky cod fillets from Tesco and cooking your own chips in a chip pan, beats every chippy in midd hands down
